Viper V3 Hyperspeed scroll wheel scrolling up and down randomly stops out of no where

My Vyper V3 Hyperspeed was working fine—I could scroll up and down without any problems—but out of the blue it stopped working. I installed Razer Synapse to see if that would fix it, but it didn't. As soon as I launched the app, the scroll wheel would work for a few seconds, then stop working again.
