Please let them update RP1. Coming from a Lumia 950XL to the Razer Phone and not receiving any more updates would be so frustrating to have been part of two dead end products, and would push me to something more mainstream next time which is sad because I love my RP1.

It would be a travesty for the RP1 not to at the least get Android Pie. I have both. I'm right there with you .

Here's hoping the 2 drops to rock bottom prices as they offload that division.

So the layoffs mean nobody is left working on the razer phone 1 pie update? Seems like every device I buy from razer is end of life the day I get it.

well it seems that profits , as usual, go before support. Always found it odd that the people who provide the profit for the company get crapped on to ensure more profits.... the problem with this is that by crapping on those people.. the profits will fall as people will stop buying the products as the support is craptastic

We are all in the same boat if you have the unlock version of the phone. I'm wondering in what time and time zone it is spouse to be out. Or if something went wrong! Still it would be nice to know.

With the recent release of Android 9 Pie, I was wondering if there was any official news on if the Razer Phone was going to be getting that release.

I really wish Razer was more informative about what's coming down the pipe in terms of software updates for the Phone. I'd rather them not die like Microsoft abandoning my Windows phone more recently.
