My bad, re-read it and it says that Razer didn't confirm whether or not the 1 will get the update, but it should be expected

It says that the unlocked Razer phones should get it on the 27th doesn't say anything about after AT&T phones get it

Look under the paragraphs, where it lists the Razer Phones that are confirmed for the update, and has the Razer Phone 2 listed, and then it says Phones To be Expected for the Update, and the Razer Phone 1 is listed in that category

Ok well untill I hear it from a razer employee that can be taken with grane of salt

I highly doubt that Razer wouldn't release the update for the 1s, but when they announced that they were cutting jobs in the mobile department, they only specifically talked about the Razer Phone 2 being continuously worked on and updated, they never said anything about the 1s, I'm sure if anything, there will eventually be a manual update for the 1s, Especially since both were shipped with 8.1 Oreo Wow, the update makes the UI way cleaner and surprisingly smoother, although, I already hate the fact the on screen buttons don't disappear as much though, hope it can be changed, also hate the way recent apps is accessed, swipe up from the empty space where the button used to be

You can change the recent button back through gestures in settings

Did you buy through your carrier, meaning Att, Verizon, Sprint? Or did you buy directly from Razer, or just an unlocked version in general?

This is the only update they've released, that's why, but not sure why you don't have access, unless you have the Razer Phone 1, then that's why

Wow, that sucks, I honestly have no idea man, the only reason why you wouldn't be able to update is if it is a carrier specific model or the Razer Phone 1, I'd try getting in touch with their mobile support center

It's a staged rollout so not everyone will get it on release.

It's still a staged rollout. A certain % of unlocked models will get it today and that will increase either every day or every couple of days depending how Razer have set it. it's normal for Android updates to do this.

Look up any update from an Android vendor. Even Google do it with the pixels but they just added a feature to push the update to your phone not that long ago. Some vendors do it by region some do it by % www.xda-developers.com/how-android-software-update-sony/amp/ "Finally, with all of that out of the way they can start rolling the update out to the users. This is normally done gradually while the team sits back and checks logs for any type of critical error during the update process."
