Corrupt SD cards

I have never had corrupted sd cards in any device until 2 now in 6 months of using them in a Razer Phone 2. Is anyone else having a similar experience? As well as 2 total failures leaving the sd card unusable (at least one not even formatable though I've not yet tried the second), I've also had a few times the card disappears though reappears on reboot. All problems occur during regular use while the phone is active and sd mounted.
