Laptop will not power up
I just took my laptop out of the box after it arrived to my house. I plugged it in and the power adapter is on, but the computer just won’t turn on when I press the power button. I don’t know if I have to wait until it’s charged a certain amount or something, but I’m at a loss. Someone please help.

+1It should turn on immediately after plugging power adapter, no need to wait for charging.
Try press and hold power button for a few sec, and power on it again.
Also what laptop do you have (model)? You can also try unplugging the battery and try to run on AC.
