If it doesn't work on any cable / any charger - it's a hardware issue.

Most likely the usb c port it's a known weak spot on the razer phones If you have a RP2 you can always charge wirelessly.

I find the sudden large numbers of Razer 2 owners complaining about the charging issue, right after the February 2021 "security" update very strange indeed. The fact is that "not charging" is relative. Download an app called "Ampere" and you will see some strange stuff. When you plug in your cable, it will detect it and will change the status from "Discharging" to "Charging" but still says "Plugged: on battery." In my case, no computer detects it with PnP technology so I can't root it and reload the current ROM image. Personally I think Razer's so called "security patch" has opened up a vulnerability and a lot of phones are getting trashed. I got Razer's wireless charger, and it's pretty and all, but 6 times as expensive as Anker's charger for $10. Anker's seems to work, I just tested it today. The Razer guy in this forum claims that it must be a "hardware issue" but why then can I charge it, slowly, when the phone is turned off. Something is very fishy. Razer's people appear totally unhelpful, except with empty words. They just want more of your hard earned money to fix your phone. I would not even feel comfortable entrusting my phone to someone else to fix.

The most common reasons for a device failing to charge are: a faulty cable, charger, socket or adapter. dirt or debris in the charging port. third party apps interrupting the charging process.

I too am experiencing exactly what you are after having my phone for 2 years with no issues. I plugged it in to charge it two days ago and nothing. it wont recognize the factory charger at all but will an outside party charger however only when powered off and it slowly trickle charges with razer logo flashing on screen consistently. Then when powered back on the battery drains at a rapid rate and the battery symbol stays red. I have checked everything as far as to factory reset the phone but it still is doing the same thing? Soooo disappointed! Can anyone help with this issue?
