New Razer Phone 2.... can't see sd card on PC

So, i jumped on the black friday deal on the razer phone 2 and after the hours it takes to restore my data, I still have the following 2 issues:

1: sd card reports 2x the size (reproducible with 3 different manufacturer sd cards)
2: when set to system memory, I cannot see the sd card on my pc. When set to portable, it see's it fine, but not as system storage.

1st issue seems to be a carry over from the rp1, but the second I need working.
I have already tried switching from system to portable and back with no issue, a factory reset from the system menu and a factory reset from the recovery menu. All showed no difference and literally a loss in hours from the previous data recovery.

Any suggestions?

Well, thing I figured it out... DO NOT restore from a previous google backup (or local backup) I did a clean setup, skipped the restore and now it's seeing the SD card properly on the PC. Kind of frustrating, but at least I can start from there.

Is it when you set the SD card as system memory? I think that's a feature in Android where you integrate the SD card into internal storage. But then that means you shouldn't remove the SD card at all until you reset it into portable storage.
You have the option when using the micro SD card to integrate it into system memory or use it as a stand alone drive.

The first option combines both disks into one drive.
The second option gives you two drives.

2nd post, figured it out already... Restoring dara from a backup of a RP1 (or data transfer) was at fault
