Pokemon Go "stops" during split screen - Razer Phone

When I am playing Pokemon Go on my Razer Phone, and I use split screen, the pokemon go app seems like inactive. Any workaround? I have tried to increase game performence but the app is still inactive while I am using browser etc. on the second half of the display.

    its they way split screen works on any phone, unless the app is touched , it freezes touch on that part of the screen, the best you can do is , have youtube running on the top and play pokemon on the bottom
