Razer Phone 2 Charging issues

So not too long ago I've only been using the charger and cable that came with my RP2. Now that cable refuses to work, same with the charger or if it does, it oscillates between charging/not charging constantly. (side note the usbc to 3.5mm dingle oscillates between connected/not connected) . I've tried new cables, new blocks, cleaning the usbc port on the phone but nothing works for long if it works at all. Anker usbc to usbc cables just flat out won't work, and Razer usbc to usbc cables don't work. i've only had luck with usbc to usb cables, and it's a 50/50 shot with that. If I even jostle the cable odds are it will quit charging. So my guess is some form of faulty usbc port. I've had this phone for about a year now and I'm not sure Razer will do anything replacement-wise. I love this phone but I wish the charging port would last longer. Sucks to have to slow charge this thing and hope it will even charge at all.

    More RP2 owners who purchased thier device (some purchased in January, mine was August) now have sudden charging issues. Almost all complaints beginning after the September patch. I find it hard to excuse it away as hardware related.

    I have the wireless charger at home and bug fix the charging issue while at work.

    Im having the same issues. only I think my whole usb-C port is failing. the phone recognizes headphones are in the port but it plays no sound through them. also my charger only works if i have it flipped a certain way inside of the port.

    This is precisely what I'm experiencing. Plus if I try to connect to my pc via USB, unless if have the cable in one way and apply pressure in one direction, it won't read or it will spastically connect/disconnect. So I am pretty sure there's some hardware faults here. I want to be able to connect to my pc to offload my photos.

    Did anyone have this issue resolved? I've contacted Razer for advice. Slightest knock on the actual cable not the socket kicks the phone off my laptop when plugged in, USB charging no longer does fast charge on the fast charge plug and whatever method I chose it needs to be a certain way round. Very peculiar Just flown back back and forth from the US and tried my headphones in the USB port with the razer adapter and they showed up as headphone and no sound. Not sure if this is Android or Razer related but in car the Razer stopped working on Android Auto and doesn't work at all now

    I am also,it is very hard to charge,it only works when l apply pressure at a special way,each night I have to spend a lot of time to exert pressure in different way in order to make sure it can charges ,after a lot of try and problem search ,l sure it is the problem of charge port,it seems have some problems at the start of products or the design,make the charge port have a short life span, the problem will Continued to deteriorate,the features is the charge port will completely loss the effectiveness in no longer time,I can only use the wireless charge and the wireless earphones, because l live in Hong Kong,it is very hard to seek help,and l think all rp 2 will have the same problems of charge port,so change a new will be useless,it will have the same problem after few months of use,l can only bear this problem and buy a wireless charge in near $1000 HKD but it is too expensive for me.Or connect the server and get through a lot of sequence to get a new phone but have the same problem,it is trouble.
