This update provides various bug fixes and security updates up until September!

To everyone experiencing issues that appeared after installing the update or errors when trying to install the update, please PM me the serial number of your RP2, the IMEI, and the bug reports so we can help you out.

are there any new bluetooth codecs added?
So, I have the update running for little more than a week now. So far absolutely stable and no crashes or any issues for me. BUT - tbh I still keep wondering what people were doing with their phones even before the update. I never had any serious problems/crashes with mine, apart from the known camera hickup, and trust me I am using it a lot.
The BT codec story is a real bummer. Tried all of my 4 Sony Audio devices, which support various stuff from acc - aptx - to ldac (obviously). But as far as developer options show it still keeps using SBC only... Although I'm not sure why it keeps showing the "HD Audio codec: aac" (just fake?) enabled option in the bluetooth connection settings of the respective device.

Not to mention that AT&T seems to have pulled the RP2 update so mine is still on 8.1 from April
Come next month due to security update requirements im not going to be able to check work stuff on this POS
EDIT: not to mention I purchased the AT&T edition in the hope to get AT&T WiFi Calling only to find out NOPE, not included either...
The update seemed to fix the camera freezing/crashing issues for me! Not having much else issues, sometimes have audio issues using android auto in my car but there are too many variables there to be certain where the issue is.

carriers normally do rollout updates which increase in numbers everyday so give it a day or two

Most of the time just general fixes will be noted instead of exact details.
I do believe this does fix that issue however as the camera has not crashed for me.

I believe that's only for AT&T variants so probably not.
Looking at the size of the patch I feel safe in assuming it's the MR2 update alongside a more upto date security patch.

I wish, still on 8.1 April 5, last I talked to an AT&T rep the first one was pulled.
I have chatted with quite a few people on the reddit threads when I visit who are experiencing the same.
At first I was made to factory reset a few times, then on my last few calls (talked to more then one rep as I wasnt sure it was correct), thats when I was told.
Anyone else here on the forum with the AT&T version have something different? (even those people who shipped with the first 9.0 release)

I installed the update. I now how a screen that says "preparing for setup" and at the bottom it says waiting for wifi. Pressed the back button selected my wireless(that the phone was already using for web and email)and it connected and automatically advanced to the screen I described above. I am on a 25gb internet connection and this app is the only thing having an issue. Rebooted several times and its still there, waiting.....all other features and functions are still working
Mine is doing the same, have you fixed this at all? I just got the phone and now I have to deal with this notification, and I hate notifications.

Looks like Razer phone 2 it's last Razer phone and support don't care about nothing...no update ... nothing,,
how about fixing the audio problem with the speaker phone microphone? I sound like I'm underwater to everyone!
Will android 10 be coming eventually my phone is an unlocked 3 phone running a Giffgaff SIM just checked update says it's on 9 last update September 2019
i think they closed this Razer phone projects, because they removed from page Razer phone 2 info. So last updates was 2019 september .
