I've had the razer phone 1 for a while now, and as much as the theme store is updated frequently with new themes, I am still unable to find a proper dark theme.
I've been using the redout theme since I've got the phone, since it's the theme that has the most dark elements in it. Nonetheless, my settings page remains mostly white, which causes many usability issues for me.
Windows, Google, and others are slowly-but-surely implementing these white-on-black UIs in their apps and operating systems, as it ends up being a must have feature for night users. Does Razer have any plans to follow suit ? To create at least one high contrast / low brightness theme ?
From a theming standpoint, there is no element preventing razer from creating a white-on-black theme that could apply system wide, as a bright text on dark background setup was already used by the Halloween 2018 theme (Albeit bright orange on gray)
Does anyone have an alternative solution other than rooting the device and using substratum ? Since rootless support has been disabled by Razer...

This is definitely the biggest down fall for these phones. If there was a proper black theme it would be perfect experience.
I did this really quick on photoshop on how I would like the theme to be. Systerm settings all black with the font Razer green.
That looks awesome. Notifications and the hole system ui needs this. The Razer phone would be my favorite phone ever if I could do this.

I have and love the Razer Phone 1 and 2 but I really do wish we had a proper dark theme. As a former Oneplus user, it is one aspect of the user experience (no matter how small) that I truly miss.

Same. Use to own the OnePlus One running COS with a theme engine. It was fun and great to customize almost every facet of the UI without root.
