Would have been better to give us a local profile to store all settings and lighting presets without using Synapse 3. I believe this was a feature in Synapse 2 where a tournament config could be created for offline use.

0V3R_K1LLHow would you create profiles if you're not using Synapse 3? o_O Synapse 2 tournament mode was just Synapse packaged together with all your existing profiles. It's still the exact same software, and it still required a user account. With this release, you can skip the account signup and start using Synapse in any environment (online or offline). Doesn't require an account even for "first use".

RazerThe_FiendI meant I want a way that you can use Synapse 3 to make a locally available profile. Most computers on LANs or tournaments dont have internet access so you cant use any settings stored on the cloud. Hence any profile we make on Synapse 3 cant be accessed on non-networked computers. As for Synapse 2 tournament mode, it gave us 1 file to basically run that did not require internet connectivity as far as I remember. Was awesome cause you can load up your entire config with just 1 install. I know it was still using Synapse 2 but the reliance on an internet connection is what pains most people. I just resort to changing in game sensitivity settings now and sticking to the default DPI of the mouse rather than trying to install Synapse 3 on a new machine.

DekadesIf you are already using razer ID in any razer software and platforms you wont see any change. The news here is the guest ID for those who are new to the community either bored so much to create an account ( i happen to have a friend like that!).The way i see it,it is a more simple way to use the razer products at full potential without having to commit personal information. The offline mode thought, would help a bunch in some cases, such as the rgb profiles.
Razer ID is the best way to kickstart your Razer Journey. It’s a single sign-on with full access to all things Razer. Check out the latest gaming deals, enjoy exclusive in-game items, redeem a variety of rewards and more to fulfil your gaming needs, all with a single account. For those of you who like to keep things sleek and simple, we’re excited to introduce the Guest Account: our all-new software feature in Synapse 3 where you can get a taste of Razer software. This means quick access to select Razer software without creating a Razer ID. You’ll still need to create a Razer ID in order to enjoy full access and other cool perks. Let us know if you have any suggestions and feedback in the comments. Protip: Be sure to be fully updated to the most recent version of Synapse 3. And if you still don't see the option to login with the Guest Account, you may have to reboot Synapse 3 a few times. Our bug squashing team is on it. RazerThe_FiendOn-board profiles? I'd very much like to see Orbweaver supported by Synapse 3. It's extremely weird that your flagship keypad isn't supported by it. :/

FrozenFireVRYeah, but how would you CREATE them? Good luck mapping volume controls (or any keyboard functions) to your mouse without Synapse. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_: As for actual storage of profiles on Synapse... most Synapse 3 generation devices already ship with hybrid storage feature, which offer storage of 5 profiles (including all keybinds, multimedia controls, macros including mouse movement and so on), for use on systems without Synapse installed. Here's an example using Mamba Elite :

RazerThe_FiendYeah, ofcourse... Just a way to setup and forget. Synapse stopped working several times for me now (fixed after a few updates) and my Firefly was stuck with a boring spectrum cycle. :/ But yeah, a mousepad is probably not gonna get onboard storage :P (I'd very much like to see waves or something as default though... Who'd use spectrum :P)

DekadesThis is one good integration to access all the Razer sites with SSO Razer ID without any restriction. With the guest id limited access, more people can definitely do a trial run and then proceed instead of forcing to create an account for everyone who wants to try the software's/sites, good initiative Razer team!

Ah so basically this guest account lets you get a taste of a real Razer ID account, its like a fitting room. But i think it might actually prove useful to some users.

It may be a good way to attract customers that refuse to create an account for everything.
Even if it's not interesting for me, i guess it's a new way to begin in the Razer world without being too much for beginners.
My bad for english mistakes but i try my best.

.Surf.I would say it goes even beyond that. We haven't artificially restricted any functionality in Synapse. We don't have a way of syncing your profiles, or registering your products for warranty without an account for example; those things would still require a sign-up and authentication, but from a device configuration or local usage perspective, there are zero restrictions.

Synapse 3 can't even keep me logged in from one restart to the next. dont matter that ive told it every time to keep me logged in.
Synapse 2 never had issues like this.
Synapse 3 cant even auto switch to a different set of keybinds without me having to do workarounds.

Teria sido melhor nos fornecer um perfil local para armazenar todas as configurações e configurações de iluminação sem usar o Synapse 3. Acredito que esse foi um recurso no Synapse 2 onde uma configuração de torneio poderia ser criado para uso off-line.
