Suggestion for Gaming Laptop

bookMintCreampoly878
Hello,

I am in need of a gaming laptop that can handle video editing software. I will be using Adobe Premiere Pro for my video editing projects and the files will be of high resolution. I am looking for a laptop with at least 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space. Also, I need a good dedicated graphics card as well. My budget is around $1500. Can anyone recommend any models from that would be suitable for my needs?

I drop a links below which will help you:

:DUsually i recommend Razer laptops but on that price range you won’t find any unless older like 2019 model if you want new device. Try check micro center assuming you’re in US laptop from Lenovo called legion 5 pro with 5800H cpu and 3070 on, it has great screen good gpu but portability and built still can’t catch Razer blade 15. Other alternative is Asus g15 3080 (don’t be fooled with naming, it has only 80watt gpu power and is beaten by smaller blade 14 3070 with 100 watt), but still not bad gpu for around your budget. Or wait for a month there will be laptop option with newer 13 raptor lake cpu (which is good for your editing work) combined with new 4000 series gpu, on that price range I think gigabyte and MSI has some 4060 gaming laptop options.
Edit: sorry apparently you’re from Canada😅, maybe ask Linus tech forum, he’s from there right:D

I would like to suggest you these laptops: Asus ROG Zephyrus G15. Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. Razer Blade 17. Lenovo Legion 5 Pro. MSI GE76 Raider. Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition. Razer Blade 14.

Too many suggestions I’m confused:D

play a game of Eene, Meeny, Mini, Moe
Which ever you point is the winner!

I definitely would get a laptop stand or in some way raises the laptop up to enable optimal airflow. Doesnt have to be a fancy laptop cooler but a simple stand or even two plastic bottlecaps at the back of the laptop will do. now so I say you are set for now) and thermal paste repaste should only come if you see bad temps that a dust cleaning wasnt able to fix.
