Viper v3 Hyperspeed - constantly losing connection


Hello, I tested 3 different Viper v3 Hyperspeed, with both their dongles and Hyperpolling Dongle.

Many times the Viper V3 Hyperspeed is losing connection to the dongles OR enters sleep mode. Even if you put the sleep time at 15 mins, many times the mouse goes sleep after 1-2 minutes. The recovery time sometimes can be very slow, but sometimes can also be instant.

 

I think Razer has a serious problem with the Viper V3 Hyperspeed firmware or the dongle (bundled and hyperpolling), otherwise this wouldn’t happen with 3 different mices and all dongles tested.

 

Whats more troubling is that people are reporting similar disconnects and sleep mode issues with other mices like V3 pro, Basilisk etc. Would be really nice if some Razer reprezentative would talk to us on this matter, thank you.

Is there any wireless interference near your mouse or dongle? To further troubleshoot the problem, please connect the dongle directly to your computer's USB port and update the Razer HyperPolling Wireless dongle firmware by following the instructions in this link. You can also try the steps from this article to resolve the issue. If the same problem persists, PM me your mouse serial number and proof of purchase so I can check for replacement options. Have a good one!
