Problems after the update on 06.11.23. Headphones Razer BlackShark v2 stopped working THX special audio

im experiencing exactly the same problem with my blackshark v2 pro headset right now. and there is no sound change in my equalizer settings either.

What is your opinion on this: is it a problem with the synapse itself or with the headset?

I have the same issue on my Blackshark v2 as well and from recollection there was an option before in the windows sounds control options to choose THxSpatial and that now no longer exists, so I think that may be our issue.  Hoping this can be resolved since this was the main reason I bought this headset, after this update I feel like I lost the submersion of sound that I had before.  Experience is everything and hoping the Razer team can correct this quickly with all this feedback about the issue.

Same issue here with Kraken V3 hypersense.

have reset all settings back to original but the sound quality is MUCH worse . also i have the thx spatial audio device dissappear as well

Having this issue as well, but with a Kraken headset. What an infuriating rollout, just fantastic when everything breaks with no option to rollback to a version that ACTUALLY works. This had better get fixed quickly.

I can activate my THX in synapse , and it does seem to work.

But the sound is changed drastically before and the device thx spatial audio is not in the windows list anymore , only v3 hypersense

Same when playing the new demo supplied there is no difference in the sound, the Spatial driver is missing in the sound Settings, so you can only choose Razer Blackshark Pro that is Stereo.

The ability to move the 7 points with calibration and test is gone too.

Yeah on second analysis the THX audio is definiitely not working on my v3 hypersense either , why would it the device isnt even in the windows list anymore lol.

Same problem with Nari Ultimate. The update made all functions unusable, no matter how much I reinstall Synapes.

Yea, same problem. THX Spatial Audio don’t work after update Razer Synapse. I hope, Razer will fix that

its working for me when i change spatial vs stereo. also got thx spatial audio usb installed in control panel> in installed programs this wasnt here before. also we lost the 7.1 setup in audio properties. maybe this is the new meta.

Same with the Razer Kraken Ultimate, EQ doesn’t seem to work, changing between Stereo and THX Spatial Audio in Synapse doesn’t change the sound either since the newest Update. Also the THX audio canal in the Windows settings itself just disappeared.

setup “razer audio controller - game” check if there isnt anything disabled in properties
