Cortex Defrag Broke My Disk

Hello, yesterday Cortex did defragment on my second HDD disk where all my games are. It defragged diablo 4 which took 20 mins.After that it broke my disk. I can barely open any folder, games wontrun anymore. Takes ages to load a folder there.

Defragemntation is turned off for SSDs - it just has no effect. When you’ve defragmented disk, then nothing should happen (despite more disk wear).

Disk Status:

  • The "HealthStatus" value is "3," which typically indicates that the disk health is good or "OK."

SMART Attributes:

  • ReallocatedSectorsCount: The value is "0," suggesting that there are no reallocated sectors on the disk.
  • CurrentPendingSectorCount: The value is "329," .
  • UncorrectableSectorCount: The value is "0," indicating that there are no uncorrectable sectors on the disk.
