Hey there,

Thank you for sharing your issue with us. My name is Michelle, and I’m part of the Razer Cortex technical support team. I am happy to help you out.

We tested this issue and did not reproduce it on our side. Could you provide us with more information?

  1. Did Fortnite crash when you exit Razer Cortex?
  2. Which feature did you use to boost Fortnie? GAME BOOSTER or BOOSTER PRIME?
  3. Could you let us know the process you use Razer Cortex to boost this game?
  4. Could you provide us with your Razer Cortex logs via PM?

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you.

Look forward to your reply soon. Thank you for being patient.

Wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Michelle

Idk when it crashed, i used all features. I factory resetted my laptop and it still doesnt work. The program messed up my whole laptop.

If you have factory reserred and it keeps crashing. Possibly, it is not a Razer Cortex issue. To be sure, could you provide us with your Razer Cortex logs via PM?

Thank you for being patient. We look forward to your reply soon.

Hey, I had the same problem when I installed Razer Cortex. It can change game settings and cause crashes. First, try verifying the game files in the Epic Games launcher. If that doesn’t help, uninstall Razer Cortex and see if Fortnite works better without it.

Hi Everyone,

I was struggling with an issue where my son's HP OMEN laptop with an RTX 1050 would crash. I even reinstalled Windows, but the problem persisted. I eventually discovered that the issue was caused by Rezer Cortex, a gaming optimization software.

On a fresh Windows 11 installation, with only Fortnite and Nvidia drivers installed, the laptop worked perfectly. However, after my son installed Cortex, the game started crashing again after the next restart. Before the restart, it worked fine.

We removed all Rezer software, reinstalled Nvidia drivers, and rebooted Windows. Since then, the laptop has been stable.

We really want to use the Rezer Cortex app, so I kindly request that you investigate this issue so we can use it again.
