Been seeing a ton of positive feedback and loads of complaints on Paid to Play.
I realize a lot of the complaints come from demands that we should raise the cap. In short we won't be raising the cap on P2P though we may add new ways of earning Razer Silver.
With that in mind, i doubt we will stop hearing the complaints - what do you guys think? Should we shut down all the free ways of earning Razer Silver and just go back to the standard - buy stuff and get loyalty points (like every other company) or should we continue to find free ways to give loyalty points (and get a ton of complaints?)
What do you guys think?

No keep it please
I agree, just shut it down, razer. It seems clear to me that you don't want us to be able to redeem anything from the p2p program with such negligible amount of zsilver. From my perspective, you just change the daily sign in bonus into a "10 minutes of playing the game of our choice" to earn that very same silver. Just admit it, and shut it down. It's fine if you don't want to give us anything, just stop pretending.

I don't understand the people like you: you don't like it, so let's shut it down for everyone else.
To be clear; I don't use P2P, but I definitely don't want to be shut down anyone because I know that there are lots of people who still use this program.
If you don't like it, just don't use it. Nobody forces you to do so.

No offense, but I genuinely think that people couldn't make use of such negligible amount of zsilver. 50 from playing games of their choice, while we previously get similar amount (40 silver) just by clicking daily reward button while having another program which was P2P, so we had two programs. Now they shut down the login reward, and made it into P2P program. If anything they only make it harder to earn the same thing, which was the daily reward. My problem is that razer is doing this by the pretense of "We want to reward our fans with this program", but at the same time not allowing the program to give anything of significance. I just don't like that idea of false pretense and goodwill, while in fact all I get is an empty hand. I'm sure most people don't use the program as well for the very same reason, they just couldn't get anything out of it. So a question could be raised, "what's the point"?

the point is that p2p is not the only method to gain silvers! lol
it was reiterated many times by minltan that what they are doing is creating an ecosystem of many free methods for fans to gain silvers. it was never meant to just gain silvers from p2p.

Those who share your tought don't understand that this beloved system is dead, P2P isn't the major way to get silvers.
You can't earn almost 1000 a day anymore. Or not so easily with a constant amount daily.
It has been clearly said that the main silver source is now Mogul Arena.
And with good judgement you can even get more that P2P ever allowed you (one week i won 100k).
It's obvious that Razer wants to make silvers as an active reward and not a an automatic gain.
Before you just had to do a few clicks to get yours (open cortex, daily rewards, launch game, exit game).
Now it requires more personnal implication to vote on Mogul, launch P2P on mobile and PC, switch on Softminer (if your GPU has enough power that is) and be active on Insider.

more specifically esports elite part.
i've personally gained so much gear just from the points earned that i don't really need much else.

None taken. It's forum, so it's meant that we discuss this and many other topics :smile_:

I think that we all should change our mindset: the past P2P was something extraordinery that was too good to be true, while we all took it for granted. I can't find any other example of a successful company that gives their products for free (ok, for playing games, but we all know that you could basically be AFK). To be honest, I think that was just a matter of time when would this program be revoked, because this was nothing but a loss for Razer (yes, there was a marketing thing, but I believe it was alltogether too expensive, specially when you take AFK farmers in consideration).
Like many others said in post before this, Min said multiple times that he is changing P2P program to an auxiliary way for gathering zSilver (along with Softminer), and definitely not the main way anymore.
Was I said when the initial P2P program was shut down? Yes, I was. But I accepted that, and moved on.
