Razer Cortex doesn't detect Epic Games installed Games

None of the games installed on Epic Games are showing up on Razer Cortex. In fact it says that “Epic Games (not installed)” but clearly it is. If I manually install the games it works but it cannot detect them by itself. Anyone found a solution to this?

Hi @TrickyUK

Thank you for reaching out and reporting the issue with Razer Cortex not detecting your Epic Games installed games. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem.

Based on your description, it seems like Razer Cortex is not recognizing the Epic Games launcher. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

  1. Refresh Library: Click on the refresh icon in the Cortex library to rescan for installed games.
  2. Check Installation Paths: Ensure that the Epic Games launcher and the games are installed in their default locations.
  3. Update Razer Cortex: Make sure you have the latest version of Razer Cortex installed.
  4. Restart Razer Game Manager Service: Go to Task Manager > Services, right-click on "Razer Game Manager Service 3" and restart it.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, our engineering team would like to check the logs on your system. I've sent you a private message with instructions on how to collect and send the logs. Please check your messages for further details.

Thank you so much for your patience and cooperation.

Best regards,
Razer Cortex Team

Everything apart from installing the Epic Games Launcher in it’s default path checks out. I don’t have space on my C drive to install the launcher and it’s games so they are located on another drive but so are all the other games managers I have like Steam so I am surprised that Epic is treated differently.

It seems the case is a bit complicated, and our engineering team has been unable to reproduce the issue. If you would like us to further investigate, could you please send us your logs? (Please check the private message I've sent you for details.) Additionally, we suspect there might be an issue with the installation of the Epic Game Launcher, which may cause Razer Cortex not to detect it correctly.

BTW: Would you mind telling me how many games you’ve installed on your PC from Epic platform?
