The razer cortex FPS counter works in steam games, but when I play Diablo 4 or Roblox, the overlay does not work. The overlay use to work in Diablo 4 and Roblox, but it no longer does and does not currently. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

We found that the FPS overlay may cause potential issues when playing the two games. So, we disabled the FPS overlay feature in Razer Cortex temperarily.

Do you know if it will be re-enabled or if there will be a setting that gives those disclaimers and allows us to use it anyway? There is no FPS counter for diablo 4 and the one for roblox does not function or look very nice.

We are investigating this issue. Before we resolve this, you can use CTRL + R to enable the FPS counter when you play Diablo IV. Hope my response helps you.

To be honest, I'm kinda annoyed that I don't even have the option to enable the overlay for Roblox. I would have been fine with a warning being displayed but since my rig is powerful enough I'd like the ability to decide for myself if I want the overlay and some potentially downgraded performance.

As the overlay may cause potential performance issue, we disabled the overlay feature in some games. Our engineering team is working on the new ways to enable the FPS overlay for all games. Thank you for sharing your concern here. Mincecraft is a special game. The current technique in Razer Cortex cannot show the overlay in it. Our engineering team is working on a new way to cover the overlay in all games including games with anti-cheat, or use UE4 technique, also some XBOX games like Minecraft.

Does it work on Roblox now since it doesn’t work for me but I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong. Please help. (also I don’t want to just use shift + F5 [the built in FPS showing thing on Roblox] since i want to use the other things like the timer on the custom Display)
