I have The New Razer Synapse and cortex installed on my computer, causing two icons to appear in the taskbar. So are there any plans to refactor cortex to accommodate the new architecture of The New Razer Synapse?

Thank you for sharing your concern with us here. My name is Michelle, and I’m part of the Razer Cortex technical support team. I am happy to answer you question. 

 

The new Synapse and Cortex apply different ways for users to register and login. The new Synpase used a webpage while Razer Cortex used Razer Central service. That is why there are 2 different icons in the task bar. This cannot be changed in the current stage.
