Seriously you guys are all okay with the Gold and Silver thing?
I'm the owner of:
Blackwidow Chroma, Deathadder, Man'o War, Levithan,
Blackwidow Ultimate, Atheris
Huntsman Elite, Basilisk Ultimate, Firefly
Plus am holding some razer stock despite I figured it's not a smart investment, I don't care, I like the snakes and it felt like I backed a kickstarter, I'm still holding even its price is halved and lower now.
I'm not sure if these things qualify me as a razer fan. I was very disappointed about the whole mining scheme but at least they stopped it and I think maybe give them another chance.
And now the whole Gold and Silver game is on, while the quality control and customer service sliding down. I'm not sure I will continue putting my money on this brand.
BTW I also invested in crypto, but at this moment razer gold is still a complete junk for me as it's not exchangeable and it has an expiry date.
What do you guys think of the whole thing?

+1I think it's good to have some loyality rewards (most companies have it, and people are happy with it).
Mining Silvers is also meh for me, better invest some "real" crypto currency :)
FiszPLI've no problem with loyalty rewards, the silver (without mining and stuff) seems legit to me in some sense. You buy you use you get rewarded sticking with the community. but it seems there aren't many ways to earn enough silver to redeem sth besides buying gold. but gold... well, i'm not a mobile gamer, but it gives me a feeling that razer is just like many other mobile game developers now trying to juice out gamers' pocket instead of making cool quality peripheral. For me, it only downgrades the brand image for (potentially) quick money.

I don't know allot about Razer Gold, haven't used it yet. I used silver and I can tell you that it is worth the grind.
In1,5- 2 months of grinding I got enough silver to purshase the ortana chroma ( 100 k silver). It arrived yesterday and I love it soooo muccch. Best keyboard I ever had, the lghting effects are amazing and the brightness is amazing to.
It is worth it to grind it in an optimal way, like I did. I will be able to purchase something else the next month again.
No dauts on the Silver.

silver is cool and all but that expiry date is really messing with me lol. I don't like that I can lose 2,000 silver in 1 month. but its whatever. its basically free anyway. I don't use gold however.
The fact that you can get Razer peripherals without paying for them is a great thing, and just by using some of their software daily. It is indeed a bit slower to get silvers than before but with a bit of ambition should be no problem. I got almost all my Razers from the catalog and i absolutely want more.

Razer Gold is supposed to be the primary way to earn Silver. Depending on your region, I totally understand the frustration involved with not having the same opportunities to buy and use Gold as other regions do.
For Silver, if you contribute a lot on Insider, you can pick up a burst in Silver.
Gamersgate and Indiegala both take Razer Gold, so if you buy a lot of games, you have good reason to spend Razer Gold there. That's what I do, personally, and living in the US it's the best and only real thing to spend Gold on while picking up Silver in return.

Its good if you have time on your hands to play tournaments and stuff but for people working and playing games casually it gets harder. Im more than happy with my 100 to 120k Silver in a year. I get a brand new keyboard/ mouse each year for just playing 12 to 15 minutes on mobile and 10 minutes on PC.
