2.4 GHz Razer Dongle Shows Connected, But Mouse Won't Connect (White Light Blinking)
Hello Razer Support,
I’m experiencing an issue with my Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro and its 2.4 GHz wireless dongle. The dongle appears to be connected properly (it shows up in Device Manager without any errors), but the mouse won't connect to it. The mouse is stuck blinking a white light and isn’t responding. Here is some additional context and the steps I’ve already taken to troubleshoot the issue:
-
System Information:
-
Windows: Freshly installed, clean system.
-
Razer Synapse: Latest version installed.
-
Dongle: New 2.4 GHz wireless dongle.
-
-
Issue Details:
-
The dongle is recognized by the computer, and there are no issues in Device Manager.
-
The mouse light is blinking white, indicating that it’s not paired or connected to the dongle.
-
Mouse stopped connecting to the dongle even though the dongle is working fine.
-
-
Mouse History:
-
The mouse started disconnecting intermittently when it was about 6 months old.
-
Then, it completely stopped working about a year ago, and I haven’t been able to use it since.
-
-
Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Taken:
-
I’ve checked all USB ports (both 2.0 and 3.0) on my PC, but the issue remains.
-
Synapse is up-to-date and installed properly, yet the mouse still won’t connect.
-
I’ve restarted the system and tried reconnecting the dongle multiple times.
-
I’ve tried re-pairing the mouse with the dongle, but the white blinking light persists, and the mouse won’t establish a connection.
-
The dongle works on another PC, but the mouse still doesn’t connect.
-
-
Additional Information:
-
The mouse was working fine until the disconnections started at 6 months, then gradually stopped working altogether.
-
Other USB devices are functioning correctly on the same ports, which rules out a hardware issue with the USB ports.
-
It seems the issue could be related to the mouse itself
-
dongle in BRAND NEW got replacement today!

Could you please provide guidance on any additional steps I should take to resolve this issue? Is there any way to reset the pairing process or possibly a firmware update that I might have missed?
Thank you in advance for your help!
