My son and I both game the wolverine ultimate and love it. However his controller has two separate (??) problems here I would like some input on before I buy another one. I am somewhat able to solder and fix things myself.
- At random intervals, both the right and left triggers will engage for 5-10 seconds on their own. I have not been able to troubleshoot a cause. Plugging the controller into my PC for the game pad tester, both triggers seem to work identically to my own Ultimate, however when slow pressing both individually they increase from 0.00-0.05 smoothly then jump all the way to 1.00. On my Ultimate, duplicating this process, it increases smoothly from 0.00-1.00 with no jump. I have disassembled, inspected, and cleaned but cannot find an apparent cause. Is this a known problem set with a solution?
- When plugging the same Ultimate in, sometimes it will not power on. When that happens, the green light on the profile swap button will blink and you can audibly and physically feel the click near the cable. This happens some of the time. This morning it turned right on when plugged in but yesterday it took 6-8 tries to get it to turn on.
I appreciate any thoughts ya’ll can provide.
