2000/4000 Hz Polling Rate Issue with Baslisk V3 Pro + Mouse Dock Pro | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

I’ve recently decided to buy a Mouse Dock Pro to compliement the Basilisk V3 Pro on the 2000/4000 Hz polling rate.

Connection works perfect and all drivers and softwares are updated to the latest accordingly, but I’ve tested out the polling rates on various polling rate websites, and the polling rates could never reach up to what I’ve selected. By selecting 2000, I get around 1800Hz; and by selecting 4000, I only get around 1200Hz. The regular 125/500/1000 works normally though.

I also get an issue where the DPI drops randomly when I’ve selected 2000/4000 polling rate, and a temporary fix of replugging the mouse dock pro helps, but it is annoying to replug everytime.

And last, everytime I turn off/on/reboot the computer or mouse awaken up from sleep, the polling rate sets itself back to 1000 no matter what I’ve previously set it to be.

I’m not sure if this is the Mouse Dock Pro’s issue with the piece I’ve got or from the recent update, and I’m wondering if owners of these 2 products have the same issues as I do. A bit disappointed seeing the higher polling rates not functioning as advertised for these flagship products. Appreciate everyone’s sharing and help!

I’m having this issue described by the OP as well. Can someone from Razer address this issue? It’s been 22 days...

I also have a similar issue
This issue did not occur around May 2023
I don't remember the details, but I remember that it started occurring after updating Synapse3.
I have contacted support, but I have not heard back, it has already been 10 days (the email says they will contact me within 120 hours)

Never test polling rate via webapp.

Here’s a standalone app, so you can test on it: https://rzr.to/pollingrate
