My razer blade is older than 2017 (2015) and i cannot download the recovery image.
My main issue is a flickering screen. Please help. I did a windows recovery but it didnt help, and when i install the razer updates i get an error saying "this firmware tool is for use only with blade..."

If not, just download a clean Windows 10 / 11 from Microsoft website and install it.
Any video of the screen flickering? It can be a HW issue too.

i have a similar screen flicker also. i bought my razer blade pro used, off of ebay. so, of course i dont have proof of purchase to continue to seek support via razer support; i also went through the steps in attempt to download recovery image and as such, cannot do so either (razer blade older than 2017, and i dont have proof of purchase).
i do have a clue (at least for my laptop), that my screen flickers between bright and medium (enough to be annoying, annoying enough for me to seek downgrading to prior window os). my screen flicker appears to conicide with the charging of the battery- i notice that when my battery icon shows both the plug-in and battery icon, the screen is bright. when the laptop stops charging and it is simply the battery icon it dims to medium brightness. this cycle flickers back and forth several times, a dozen per minute it feels.
any ideas?
