I have a 2019 Razer Studio with the 4K Touch and Quadro RTX 5000. Unfortunately this is out of warranty and I'm at my wits end. Display cuts out and shuts off at random. Usually seems to happen upon reboot, changing resolution, etc. It seems to be remedied by using an external display, or closing the laptop and reopening a few times. I removed the bottom cover and reseated the display cable with no change.
Steps Tried
- Changing resolution
- External monitor
- DDU and reinstall new driver
- BIOS update
- Reseat cable
- Fresh install of Windows
Anyone seen something like this before? Any assistance would be great. I'm assuming the display may be bad or the cable has internal damage. Most likely screwed and will sell for parts. Razer will probably charge me $1200+ for repair.
