2020 Razer Blade 15 Advanced fans always running loud.

Here's a snapshot of Intels tuning utility. I'm constantly Power limit throttling and temps range from the high 50s to mid 70s. Again that is even with every program closed in the background.

I have exactly the same issue and would be very interested in getting an answer..

I've downloaded throttlestop and disabled turbo. It has made a huge difference. Of course, this should not be a problem to begin with, but if you want a little reprieve before/if we ever get an answer, I'd try that.

I was hoping someone could give any insight into this. Evers since I got my laptop the fans are constantly running louder than I'd expect. I have the latest bios/firmware, windows is completely up to date. Even when I'm in power saver mode, with every program that would be in my taskbar turned off, the laptop is still loud. When opening up my task manager it actually quiets down for a bit, but there are no suspicious processes running. Idle cpu use is between 2-4 percent. No viruses/rootkits/mining detected in the background. Any ideas??

Blade 15 Laptops fans will star kick in from 50ish and higher would make it louder on preset (Auto fans), Intel CPU on Blade 15 still use 14 nm chip with more boost clock since 2016 that means it might be hot on nowaday apps that use cpu more than before disabling Turbo Boost might help reducing the heat that lead to quieter fans noise. Power limit throttle is also kind of manufacturers answer toward this Intel CPUs to keep their laptops cooler regardless blade laptops, the difference is maybe on which temperature degrees and for how longer it would be throttled.

The strange thing though is that 2019 blades are really quiet (without tweaking the settings)... Also disabling turbo helps but it’s still not quiet

I've continued to use throttlestop since my post stating I've started using it. It has remained quiet. I haven't noticed any performance issues. I do turn off throttlesop when I game, but when I'm gaming, I don't really care how loud it gets. Ironcially enough it has gotten much louder watching a youtube video than when I game in a AAA title. It made no sense. Today I repasted my CPU/GPU with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. I have noticed that the temperature readings on throttlestop have a max of 57 degrees on any core. The center bottom of my laptop is quite warm but before it would be painfully hot, and my temps would hit 70s max while using my laptop for basic tasks. In summary, I'd say throttlestop helped the most with fan noise. Repasting has helped with actual temperatures reported by throttlestop and by actual tangible touch. Before it was uncomfortable to have my laptop on my lap, and painful if I held my hand on the bottom. I'm thinking I either had a bad paste job, or the thermal compound from Razer is just really bad.
