2021 Blade 17 CPU Power Limit on Battery | Razer Insider

Razer, why are you so restrictive on your power limits on battery. System runs great plugged in.

But on battery, Razer decides for you that 15-18w is all you get. My 2019 Razer at least let it go to 25w.

It's so limited that I'm unable to do anything on battery. The system stutters and lags non-stop.

I returned the first unit, thinking it was a fluke. The second one does the same thing.

Meanwhile the Alienware X17 I'm comparing it to is like - hey if you want to drain the battery, that's on you. CPU runs at 70w on battery or not.

Please release an update that lets us decide how much power the CPU can have on battery.
Any comments support?

Sorry to hear about your overall experience while using the laptop. I would like to help you initiate an investigation. Please send me the following:

a. MSinfo logs.

b. Photo of the BIOS main tab.

c. Synapse 3.0 logs

d. Windows Battery Report

• Hit Windows Button + X and select Command Prompt (Admin). This is the quickest way to open the Command Prompt as an administrator.

• Type in and enter: powercfg /batteryreport

Note: This command will create a battery report under C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\battery-report.html or, in Windows versions older than Windows 10, under C:\\Users\\rUsername]
