Hi All, should this laptop but able to use the LG as an external monitor?

Ive read yes according to various online research.



I got the above laptop and have the LG ultrafine display. Plugged in via thunderbolt (on the right side of the laptop) nothing happens (power adapter is plugged in). I use the function keys to try extend the monitor, nothing happens. I open display preferences to try detect a monitor, nothing happens.



Tried HDMI to usbc adapter, nothing happening.



Am I missing something?
