I purchased a Blade 17 in 2023, I believe it is a 2022 make. I have had 0 problems with it up until a month ago. When I boot up, the labtop’s screen works fine for 15 to 30 seconds then goes blank. I sometimes work on an external monitor. So far, it will detect any external display I connect. It will not detect its own display. The fact that its own display works fine for a few seconds each time I boot up, leads me to believe it is not a hardware issue with the display. I have been trouble-shooting this and have tried updating drivers, and many other things but nothing seems to work. I see some people’s monitors simply stop working all together and they have them replaced. But I have not seen any forum posts where the display works briefly upon boot up and then stops. Has anyone had this issue before, or aware of a fix?
