2022 Razer Blade 14 Firmware Updater "Detected components are up-to-date" Error

I’ve got a Razer Blade 14 and I’m finally getting around to applying the 2023 firmware update for USB4/battery optimization.  I’ve followed the instructions for disabling the trackpad and NVIDIA in Device Manager.  I’ve successfully installed the EC firmware update. I’m running Windows 11.  I even found a post recommending running the AMD chip updater and successfully did that.   Windows Hello is removed, drive is fully decrypted, all the stuff the install guide said to do.

When I run the firmware update, it brings up the update window, but the only button I can press is cancel and it tells me “Detected components are up-to-date.  I restarted and manually checked the BIOS version and it is clearly not up-to-date.  Pulling my hair out and can’t figure out what could be keeping the update from running.  Any help appreciated.

i’m in the same boat..

i bought a band new razer blade 14 2022 and i’ve been trying to update it for hours..

despite having done everything as recommended in the razer guide, i still end up with the same message of the components being up to date and consequently a laptop in its 1.1.0.0 version..

I got exactly the same experience. Also there is a few repeated warnings saying a driver cannot be load on this device

It's really seems like this is the kind of brand that seems to be the best you can get and then you only end up buying one or two products and then steer clear..

Massive cost for such poor performance and buggy experience is a terrible combination..

How did you get EC firmware updated? I only see the Razer firmware update package that bundles everything.

I got the same problem, please tell me if you solve the problem!
