Hi. At around after the latest 2024 Windows updated left side USB-C port stopped working on my 2023 Blade 14 (RZ09-0482). There are no any issues with the right side USB-C port at the same time: Monitor, flash drives, earphones, etc., everything works fine with the right side port, but not the left one.

Windows 11 and all drivers updated, BIOS v.2.0. No physical damages to the USB-C port, it just stopped working. AIDA64 is not recognizing connected device, and there is simply no power to it.

Any help, suggestions, recommendations?

I’d boot up linux from live USB - for eg. Ubuntu or Linux mint to check if it’s software or hardware problem.

I just tried to load Ubuntu from USB-stick, and still no power for the left-side USB-C. So, looks like a hardware issue, but have no idea why that happened.

I’d check BIOS settings. Dunno about Razer Blade but some enterprise-grade laptops have ability to disable specific ports via BIOS.

I have the exact same issue. Mine just stopped working this morning.

Not sure if it will be helpful for these who have similar issue, but my left side USB-C port start working again by itself, almost by itself.

I left the laptop for a week until the battery completely drained, so the laptop will not start (not even LEDs light up), then plugged in to a charger, started laptop, and that’s it.
