Oh god, you are right. Activated 7.1 surround app, the code worked. For some weird reason I thought THX was the app, instead of 7.1.

Ok, is there any way to configure the application though?

hello, l bought razer blackshark v2 USB yesterday. Now l trying to activate the 7.1 Surround when l want to get code l have a problem ‘’Your Razer device is not eligible to receive a 7.1 Surround Sound activation code. Please refer to 7.1 Surround Sound System For Gaming Headset for eligible products.’’ but l have blackshark v2 USB so l need help with that code please. 

Blackshark V2 uses THX Spatial Audio which is available out-of-box without activation through Synapse 3 software (Audio → Mixer tab).

so l just open the THX Spatial Audio to get settings?

If you mean external THX Spatial Audio app - then no, uninstall it.

Just use Synapse.

No, as said earlier - uninstall it. Just use synapse.

I reinstalled my windows and I bought the Razer Surround software and got a registration key in my Email, which is not working anymore on the new windows, it says “License code is invalid”

This is your first time registering it? Or you’ve activated it before? If activated, then you just need to login to your RazerID account, instead of registering used code again.

Which app, which headset?

If something like Blackshark V2 X - then it’ll require 7.1 surround. You’ll receive code via email after successful headset registration with your RazerID account.

Hello, I bought the Kraken X USB headset second hand and was able to obtain the activation code but every time I use it, its stats “License Code Invalid” not sure what to do from here. Thank you for your help. 

Your Kraken X USB is not compatible with the 7.1 Surround Sound-supported devices listed in this section, nor with the THX Spatial Audio app (see this list). However, you can download Synapse 3 & 4 since they both support your headset model. Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
