So I recently reset my pc and all of a sudden the option for 7.1 surround sound was gone. I checked my device manager and it was gone too. I tried reinstalling the program and the driver was still missing. Is there anything I can do at this point or should I just live with it?

Can you send me a screenshot of the surround sound setting in your Synapse and of how the surround sound is detected in your device manager? I'd also appreciate it if you can send me the serial number of your headset. I can use that to verify its model and check its specifications. Let's go from there.
