7.1 Surround Sound Not Working

Hello, I have a Razer Kraken X headset, and I am using the 7.1 surround sound software, NOT synapse. When I follow the instructions the app gave (choose output in the software, then select 7.1 surround sound as your output in sounds) and there is absolutely no sound output. Some things I have already tried: -Unchecking Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device under properties for both my headset and the surround sound -Making sure the default format option is the same for both 7.1 and my headset -Uninstalling Surround Sound and reinstalling -Restarting my computer I have lost count of the other smaller things I've tried and I'm at a loss of what to do to fix this. If anyone can help, that would be great! I don't want to weather the support system again, but I will if it is the only option. Thank you!
