7.1 surround sound not working

I recently bought Razer Kraken 2019 and wanted to try 7.1 surround sound thing but then when it was installed I wanted to change the volume a bit and realised that the sound was gone (and audio error poped up when I tried to listen to something in Chrome) and even my mic stopped working. Does anybody knows what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Hi there! Can you share a screenshot of 7.1 Surround as well as the error message that pops up?

And also when I'm changing volume, there is just a little cracking sound in headphones when 7.1 Surround sound turned on.

Thanks for the reply. Does this issue only happen when Surround is on? Have you tried to reinstall Synapse? If you haven't yet, please do and let me know how it goes.

Yeah the issue only happens when Surround is turned on. I reinstalled Razer Synapse and It seems like it's working but only when I'm not changing volume. When I'm trying to change volume the same thing happens (audio error, no sound and not working mic).

Sir, hes got an analog headphones, there is no support by any versions of Synapse. He can use only 7.1 Surround Sound. And hes not alone with that ussie with Kreken 2019 and 7.1 Surround sound in Russian Federation.

Чувак выбирай устройство по умолчанию в качестве воспроизведения звука не виртуальный разъем 7.1 Surround, а именно тот к которому ты применил опцию объёмного звука, в твоем случае это Realtec High Defenition Audio. Могу инструкцию кинуть по настройке звуковых выводов и вводов, если надо.

Спасибо за ответ. Т.е. просто выбрать не 7.1 Surround, а Realtek? Вроде я так уже пробовал, но результата я особо не заметил.

Видимо результат и заключается в этом "не особо" эта проблема распространена у нас в РФ, обращалось уже несколько человек. Тут вариант либо ждать фиксов, либо юзать стандартный разьем с "не особой" разницей.

Hi there! Apologies. What I meant was to completely reinstall all Razer-related software and drivers. This is most likely a software issue.
