7.1 surround sound problems

Hello, fellow razer fans! I got a new pair of razer Kraken x headphones and I am loving them, but I do have a problem with the 7.1 surround sound app...it doesn't open. I have tried everything, but to no avail and I am frustrated because my friends are pointing out that my mic is playing back audio from my headphones and I have a suspicion that the problem is in the 7.1 surround sound. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? P.S. I have searched YouTube and Reddit, but nobody has the same problem as me.
