I have the Razer Kraken X USB headphones, and they work great. However, the additional audio software (7.1 Surround Sound) has been acting up very strangely during game play. The sound it gives off when running 7.1 is very choppy and static like. Sound gets muffled and even causes me frame rate drops when I play certain games.
Keep in mind, this only happens during game play. If I listen to music or watch movies / Youtube videos with 7.1, the sound is perfect. Its only during game play that I get strange muffled and choppy sound. I've checked for updates, and it seems everything is up to date. The headphones work just fine when I select Speakers (Razer Kraken USB) as my audio playback device for video games. But when I change it to 7.1, thats when I start to experience issues.
Anyone else have a similar problem? Anyone know how to fix this issue? If it helps, I have Razer Synapse and Razer Cortex running when I play video games on my PC. W
