On the set up tutorial it says to select 7.1 surround sound as the device default yet when i try to its not an option to select


Check in the sound settings then go to output devices. Check if the Razer 7.1 surround is disabled. On the application, make sure you choose Realtek audio device as the default audio output for the application to use the audio driver of your PC. If that didn't help, let me know through PM so I can look for other steps to help you address the problem.
