7.1 Volume becomes louder at random. | Razer Insider

I’ve been using the Razer Kraken V3 X for a long while now, and recently I’ve been noticing that the volume when using it will randomly go up without affecting the volume sliders in sound mixer. One moment, I’m listening to my music and locked in, the next moment when I’m alt-tabbing to my group chat or to check the playlist, the audio turns up just enough to be noticeable and slightly annoying. It can do it back to back too, so sometimes the volume can become unbearable.

I’ve been looking for a means to fix it, and the temporary solution has been to go to the sound device and toggle the improved sound signals off and then on. However, the only solution for any audio issue in the FAQs is always to turn off the improved sound, and I don’t know if any of you have tried comparing music with the setting on and off, but the quality drop when not using improved sound is immense, lacking much of the bass and other sounds that come with it.

Has anyone found a solution that doesn’t involve nuking my sound quality? The 7.1 sound quality with improved sound on has been so good before this became an issue, and I’d rather preserve the quality as much as I can.
