Hey, I’ve recently upped the pilling on my Viper V3 Pro and noticed a problem that makes it kinda unsuable. Have also tested it on  a VMSE and a V2 Pro and a Dav v3 pro (which are all seperate dongles apart from V2 and Dav). At 4K and below the mice all seem fine and work as usual. At 8k however I need to move the mouse more than I did at lower polling to get the same movement in game? Its almost like being at a  lower DPI. There isnt any lag or FPS drops etc it just doesnt move as much in game for the same physical movement, like  about 90 degree loss at least.

 

Windows is up to date etc and firmware all updated so what could this be? Does anyone else have this issue, saw someone on reddit had this issue but they didn’t  get a solution.

Do you have certain apps running in the background? I had the same problem in games like R6 when Overwolf and its related apps were on. According to their website, it’s a known problem for high polling mice, as it hasn’t been optimized for it. Setting my display to full screen on all my games also helped a lot.

What's the current firmware on your Razer Viper V3 Pro? To isolate, try using the device in other applications. If the issue persists, try a clean reinstallation of the Razer Synapse to rule out the problem.
