Got my Razer Joro brand new from Amazon today and I'm running into two input issues when paired with my Orochi V2 via HyperSpeed dongle.
Issue 1 - Input cancellation: When holding down any key, the input stops registering mid-hold. Here's what it looks like:
Holding W continuously: wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww[INPUT STOPS - still holding key]
Holding G continuously: ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg[INPUT STOPS - still holding key]
Holding O continuously: ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo[INPUT STOPS - still holding key]
Key is still physically held down when input cuts out. Must release and re-press to get input registering again.
Issue 2 - Input sticking: The opposite also happens. I release a key and the input keeps firing as if the key is still held down. For example, I release W but the character keeps moving forward until the keyboard eventually registers that the key is no longer pressed. So the keyboard both fails to register a key that IS being held, and fails to register when a key has been RELEASED.
Issue 3 - Keys don’t register:
Keys do not sometimes register at all.
Both issues make the keyboard unusable .
Troubleshooting already done:
- Updated firmware on both the Joro and Orochi V2
- Reinstalled Razer Synapse
- Issue does NOT occur when plugged in via USB
- Only happens when connected via HyperSpeed dongle
