What’s the model of your headset? Is that the Razer Kraken V3 or Kraken V3 Pro? Please tell me more about your post. Is your headset not detected via Razer Synapse and not getting any options to tweak its settings after the update? You can send me the device’s serial number via PM so I can verify its details and know more about your concern. Thanks for your cooperation.

I also have a similar problem. Today, the Razer Synapse Software updated, and I do not have my usual playback devices anymore. I had one called Speakers (THX Spatial Synapse), which I used, but now it is gone). And the little green LED on my THX controller is not lighting anymore. Now I have to use one of these 2, which sound worse, no matter what I do. Headphones: Razer Kraken Tournament Edition

Funny enough ive got the same problem since the update of razer i had my THX Spatial Synape for my sound and now it gone and they want me to buy it again... like hell no i had that for 2-3 years now ( i own a Nari ultimate headset) and all  playback devices i can use now is Chat /game or my monitor but THX is goone

Is there no solution to solve the problem? Should I recover this better headset?

It is clearly a software problem, we just have to wait

The problem is that they do not specify a specific time or even answer the questions

I have been doing this for three days and I have been using this in my work

same here

THX device disappearead, THX LED not functioning anymor.

But, if I press the THX button, in synapse I see the mode changing (from Stereo to THX and vice versa)

Razer pls solve this! Or at least provide explanation whats happening.

I have received an E-mail response, TY Razer, yet to ‘assist’ me they wanted every darn near and far question imaginable, I ( sorry Razer support ) let it go Knowing its not me, we ALL have this issue.

I thought to add some more information, might help to solve the problem

Some further thoughts: if the Kraken Tournament edition was by accident or on purpose removed from the list of THX supported devices (in Synapse) that could be the cause of the issue.

This we could prove if some of us manages to run the THX Trial version and finds out that it suddenly starts to work as intended.

Happy to read any feedback. Lets solve this together:)

Hello guys,

I think I got it. I removed all Razer software, reinstalled it (Synapse and Cortex) and got the following pop-up info windows (see screenshot attached below)

This sentence (from that pop-up window) seem to be explaining it all:

“ Set ‘Razer Audio Controller - Game’ as the default audio device, THX Spatial Audio has now been integrated into your respective product and will no longer need to be a separate audio device”

Note: after the reinstall, the THX LED on the USB controller is working again (light indicating THX on/off)

yet another thing, i noticed that after the reinstall, my Synapse version is 20231116 (apparently from today) - you see this when you go Settings->About->Check for updates
