Addressable RGB Controller Only Works with Quick Effects

I have the new Addressable RGB Controller in my computer. Connected to that is a pair (daisy chained) of Phanteks Neon RGB strips. The RGB controller recognized these right away and had the number of LED's correct. When I go to apply lighting effects by selecting "Advanced Effects" under "Accessory" -> "Lighting" though, I can't get any lighting on the LED strips from my custom chroma studio profile to work. I can apply a static color to all controllable elements (including the LED strips) that is respected my mouse and keyboard no problem. But the LED strip won't light up. When I switch the lighting effect to "Quick Effects" under "Accessory" -> "Lighting", all of those quick options work for the LED strips. Seems to be a software bug that doesn't apply the custom effects to things connected to the RGB controller.

Is there going to be a resolution on this? Has anyone else gotten this controller to work with custom Chroma profiles? If so, what devices did you have plugged in?
