After firmware update, Deathadder v2 pro stopped working. | Razer Insider

I don’t understand what happened but when I finished the installation of the firmware, it completely stopped working. I unplugged and put it back in, fully reinstalled synapse with a couple restarts and it’s wireless capability is just not working. It was working completely fine with the dock but now it doesn’t register anything
Update, went into settings in synapse and reset to factory settings and it still doesn’t work with 2.4. Why is this 2.01.00 even released?
I updated the firmware on my Deathadder V2 Pro to 2.01.00 aswell. Although the mouse still works in wireless mode, Razer Synapse doesn't recognize it anymore (i.e. only my Razer Mouse Dock Chroma is listed under devices). Therefor I'm no longer able to check my battery level on my Deathadder until I plug in the cord.

Really hope they're working on a fix. (Ignore this since the issue was on my end)

Sorry to hear that in your case your mouse no longer works at all in wireless mode.

EDIT: Appearantly my issue seemed to be related to the Windows drivers and was fixed after reinstalling them.

The steps that solved my issue:

  • Press “Windows + S” on your keyboard to open the Search bar.

  • Type in “Device Manager” and hit Enter.

  • Go to Mouse and other pointing devices.

  • Right-click on your Razer Mouse and select Uninstall device.

  • Go to Human Interface devices.

  • Right-click on your Razer Mouse and select Uninstall device.

  • Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.

  • The drivers will automatically reinstall after your computer restarts.

Hope this helps!
