air bubble lines under the protective film on the body of my deathahdder elite

there's slightly raised bubble like lines on the body of my deathahdder elite, mainly around the bar-code area, but also a few around towards the top. i wouldn't care, but I've started to feel slight jagged movements now when I move the mouse, as the slightly raised markings awkwardly glide along the mouse pad. terrible for gaming! mouse is only a few months old. is it worth it to RMA it, or can I somehow remove all of the protective film? (even though I don't see how I could possibly do that). if I RMA it does Razr send you a replacement immediately or is it a long drawn out process? thanks
