It began with my Razer BlackWidow V3 keyboard, which was intermittently failing to register shortcuts like Ctrl+A, Ctrl+V, etc. To fix this, I attempted a reset using the Esc + Caps Lock + Spacebar combo.
After doing this, the keyboard powers on and lights up normally, but none of the keys respond — it doesn't work in Windows, BIOS, or any key testing tool. I ran the official firmware updater, which recognizes the keyboard and reports that it’s up to date, but the issue persists.
More concerning is that after this reset, all of my Razer peripherals, including my Razer mouse, also stopped working entirely.
Here's what I've already tried:
-
Running the firmware updater (keyboard is detected, mouse is not).
-
Testing on multiple PCs, with and without Synapse.
-
Using different USB ports and cables.
-
Manually uninstalling drivers and hidden devices via Device Manager.
It seems that the reset procedure may have caused the devices to become stuck in firmware or bootloader mode. At this point, none of my Razer gear is functioning as input devices.
