All the macros and profiles disappeared from the cloud

Hey,

Yesterday I installed new Synapse v4 (and logged in into my razer id there). It took me quite some time to figure that my mouses are not supported. I removed Synapse v4 after i got that. (Actually backwards compatible devices with v3 title IS misleading, i was expecting all of the devices working on v3 would work on v4).

After removing v4 from my PC - i had troubles with macros module in v3. I re-installed v3 - macro module was already ON, but when switching into it - nothing happens, just menu says its active, but content in the middle does not change.

 

After that i need to remove everything related to synapse from the PC and re-install v3.

 

When i finally got v3 working - all the macros were gone. and besides that - it did remove those from the cloud. and now hundreds of my macros are gone.

 

Can you please help me to figure how to recover those?

 

P.S. I still have one device that having all my macros. And i keep pressing - do not sync with cloud, as it would remove them. How do i back them up to USB and export to another pc?

Hi, have you resolved your issue? I have the same problem with version 2, but I have been using Razer for decades before abruptly stopping for a year to concentrate on my work after my computer broke. However, once I was able to get a new computer and access my Razer Synapse account, all of my macros that I had saved to the cloud have vanished.

no, cloud was destroyed, i exported macros I still could from on PC that did not sync.

I have a similar sad story. I had to roll back to S3 from S4 and lost 200+ profiles. Why in gods name would they delete all your S3 profiles from the cloud? I think I have had enough of Razer and their ½ baked software.

any updates on how to get around this without a rollback to 3? I need to use 4 as my newer devices are not supported

same thing here. this is such a huge L from razer… like why would we need visual updates like screensavers when everyone was just asking to fix the damn software. Just make it more user friendly. deleting clouds absolutely does not make it user friendly. wtf!!!

Same issue here. Updated from synapse 3 to 4 and lost everything. Thanks Razer

My macros randomly stopped working today and I hadn’t updated anything yet. Downloaded the new S4 stuff and I eventually ended up finding the option to migrate my original macros over. Even after that I had to reassign all of them back to their keys. Also I feel like the new macro-making page is so un-intuitive. I remember there being a way to assign macros to keys from the macro page (or at least see what a macro is currently assigned to) and it feels way more clunky now. Strongly disliking the new UI. Also, go to settings and turn off recommendations if you haven’t already.

It should be a standard thing. It worked, but kinda worried with those configs.
