Amazon Warranty on Razer Basilisk Ultimate

I bought the Razer Basilisk Ultimate mouse from amazon back in December 2022 and after some use, the bottom DPI button has stopped working. I have already contacted Amazon support about the warranty and they said it is covered up to 1 year. They asked me to contact Razer directly about the warranty and I would like to get it exchanged. They also asked me to test the mouse to see if it is faulty by plugging it into different USB ports and after testing, it still does not work.
